1933年 刘文西出生于浙江省嵊县水竹安村。1940年 在嵊县本乡上小学,爱好美术。1947年 在阳山中学读书。1948年 转入嵊县中学。1950年 入上海育才学校学习美术。1953年 入浙江美术学院五年制国画系。1957年 在浙江美院上学时赴陕北毕业实习,去 永乐宫临摹壁画。1958年 浙江美院毕业,分配到西安美术学院任 教。 在浙美时创作了《劈山引水》、《毛主席和 牧羊人》,其作品多家出版、发表,并在上 海、杭州展出。 11月带学生赴陕北延安深入生活写生、 创作
1933 Liu Wenxi was born in Shui Zhu An Village, Sheng County, Zhejiang Province. 1940 in primary school in Sheng County, hobbies art. 1947 in Yangshan secondary school. In 1948 transferred to Sheng County High School. 1950 Shanghai Yucai School to study fine arts. 1953 into the Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts five-year painting department. In 1957 in Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts school went to northern Shaanxi internship, to copy the murals Yongle Gong. 1958 Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts, assigned to the Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts. In the United States, he created the “Mount Hope” and “Chairman Mao and the Shepherds”. His works have been published, published and exhibited in Shanghai and Hangzhou. November students went to Yan’an in northern Shaanxi life sketches, creation
