许多病毒已被证明可以同时感染孕妇和胎儿,但日本脑炎病毒(JEV)在人类经胎盘感染未见报告。作者在印度Uttar Pradesh 1978年10月～12月日本脑炎广泛流行期间研究了5名患病孕妇,首次报告了日本脑炎病毒可经胎盘感染胎儿。
Many viruses have been shown to infect both pregnant women and fetuses, but no Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV) has been reported in humans through placental infection. The authors studied five sick pregnant women during Uttar Pradesh’s October-December 1978 widespread Japanese encephalitis and reported for the first time that the Japanese encephalitis virus could be transmitted through the placenta to the fetus.
