《荀子·乐论》是我国古代第一篇完整的音乐美学专论,在中国音乐美学史上具有重要地位。对其版本研究我们可以清晰的知道,不同版本所蕴含不同时代、不同作者之间的差异,便于我们更好的理解中国传统文艺美学的内涵具有重要作用。
“Xunzi Music Theory” is the first comprehensive monograph of music in ancient China, which plays an important role in the history of Chinese music aesthetics. We can clearly know from the version study that the difference between different authors in different editions implies that it is very important for us to better understand the connotation of Chinese traditional literary aesthetics.
