Through the analysis of the development of basic education in Yunnan during the Ninth Five-year Plan period, a comparative study is carried out under the national background to explore the context and trends of the development of basic education in Yunnan Province, to put forward the development ideas on the main issues and to provide reference for the future development of Yunnan.
