(一)密闭式电炉除尘是把电炉的整个炉体,包括电极密闭起来,用较小的排风量达到较高的收尘效率和综合治理效果的一种除尘措施。国外这一技术多用于大型电炉上,如美国孤星钢厂,炉容量60吨,罩子尺寸34×54×64米;美国木工厂,炉容量20吨,罩子尺寸42×51×35米;意大利菲三特厂150吨炉,罩子尺寸55×56×45米;西德克虏伯公司容量120吨电炉以及丹麦 DDSt100吨电炉,都采用大型的密闭罩。他们多数采用自动化电脑控制,管理和生产工艺是较先进的。
