纪村水电站是陈村水电站的二级站,系径流式电站。电站挡水坝由8个重力式混凝土坝段和左右岸土坝接头组成,混凝土坝建在紫红色粘土质砂岩上。土坝接头建在复盖坡积土上。左坝头与笠帽山山坡相接,右坝头与东干渠的渠堤相接,均为均质土坝。前池正常蓄水位54.81m,最高蓄水位55.81m。坝顶高程57.0m,混凝土坝顶宽4m,左岸土坝顶宽5m,右岸土坝顶宽7m,最大坝高约22m。混凝土坝与左右岸土坝接头之间采用横向档土墙连接。由于左岸土坝排水棱体、排水沟以及8号坝段混凝土档土墙上排水孔设置不当,接着在1983
