从长治市后湾水库,沿208国道,有一条干渠绵延百里,宛若一条巨龙飞越襄垣、屯留两县,将一股股清泉洒向茫茫田野——这就是长治市襄屯灌区。1997年春夏,虽然该市遭受了百年不遇的大旱,襄屯灌区还没有竣工验收,但是,襄屯干渠两旁浇灌的庄稼,长得绿油油、茂腾腾,受益的群众脸上笑开了花。他们高兴地说,这得感谢市委、市政府!感谢市县水利部门!感谢襄屯灌区指挥部!
