Recently, HSBC Group released the “Future of Retirement: How to Retire” survey report. The report noted that nearly 80% (76%) of respondents in mainland China indicated that after retirement, they still have to provide substantial financial support to their families. This share is highest in the global surveyed market (49% of the global average, see Figure 1).
