沙田村距贺县县城15公里,居民大部分务农,少数为小商贩,生活较富裕,居住集中。医疗条件较好,乡卫生院就在沙田村内,但环境卫生较差,村民缺乏卫生科普知识,对结核病防治常识了解更少。而结核病在流行,现将1984年9月调查结果报告如下:
Shatin Village is 15 kilometers away from He County, where most of the residents are farmers. A small number are small traders living in affluent and concentrated areas. Medical conditions are good, rural hospitals in Sha Tin Village, but poor sanitation, villagers lack of popular science knowledge, understanding of TB prevention knowledge less.
