在机械加工中,常遇到等变螺距的螺杆加工问题,一般皆是车工按不同的螺距,改换车床挂轮,进行接刀切削。自然,接刀处不够理想。以挤塑机螺杆为例,由于机械加工的限制,只好采用三段或四段不同螺距的螺纹相拼接,这样,影响塑料的塑化,易于在拼接处造成物料的分解,产品质量受到影响。在车床上,采用无级连续变速器,车削不同螺距的螺杆,可以得出均匀变化的螺距,效果较好。
