阿尔泰林区位于新疆北部,山体自西北至东南全长约400余公里。最高峰为友谊峰高4374米,山势由北向东南渐低渐窄,西北部宽度约150公里,东南部宽度约80公里。而山麓带地势与山势适相反,东南高而西北低。针叶林带处于中高山地带,年降水量为300—700毫米,山地降水量都较平原地区多得多。年平均温度2—4℃,极端最低气温在-40℃以下。全年无霜期在125天上下。
Altai Lin area is located in northern Xinjiang, the mountain from the northwest to southeast of the total length of about 400 kilometers. The highest peak is 4374 meters above sea level. The mountain ranges gradually narrow from north to southeast. The width of the northwest is about 150 kilometers and the width of the southeast is about 80 kilometers. The foothills and the opposite of the mountain with high southeast and low in the northwest. Coniferous forest belt in the middle and high mountains, the annual rainfall of 300-700 mm, mountain precipitation are much more than the plain. The annual average temperature of 2-4 ℃, extreme minimum temperature below -40 ℃. Frost-free period throughout the year in 125 days.
