太岳林局地处山西省晋东南、晋中、临汾三个地区的交界处,地跨三专十县,下设20个林场、纤维板厂、经销站、汽车队等29个单位,现有职工1400人。经营总面积540万亩,有林面积253万亩,其中,针叶林面积占53.2％,其余为阔叶杂木林,森林覆被率46.9％,总蓄积量达471万立方米。我局资源丰富,劳力充足,交通方便,具有开展多种经营的优越条件。由于贯彻执行了“以林为主,多种经营,综合利用,以短养长”的经营方针,促进了林业发展,繁荣了林区经济。
Taiyue Forest Bureau is located in the southeast of Shanxi Province, Jinzhong, Linfen three areas at the junction, across three specialties and ten counties, set up under 20 forest farms, fibreboard factory, distribution station, the team of 29 units, the existing 1400 employees. With a total area of 540 mu and a forest area of 2.53 million mu, the area of coniferous forests accounts for 53.2% and the rest are broad-leaved and mixed forests. The forest cover rate is 46.9% and the total volume reaches 4.71 million cubic meters. Our bureau is rich in resources, adequate labor, convenient transportation, with the advantages of a diversified business. Thanks to the implementation of the operating principle of “taking the forest as the mainstay, diversified management and comprehensive utilization as the basis for short growth”, forestry development has been promoted and the economy of the forest area has been prosperous.
