中国科协代表大会每5年召开一次。据悉,明年5月间将举行“四大”。“四大”的主题词是科技进步和历史责任,其指导思想是广泛宣传“科学技术是第一生产力”。会议期间将用二天时间开展学术活动,介绍世纪之交的科技发展趋势和我国发展战略,并对“八五”计划中的综合性重大课题进行研讨,提出建议。代表大会还将选举产生新的中国科协领导班子。
China Association for Science and Technology Congress held every 5 years. It is reported that in May next year will be held “big four.” The theme of the “big four” is scientific and technological progress and historical responsibility. Its guiding ideology is to widely publicize “science and technology are primary productive forces.” During the conference, two days will be held to conduct academic activities, introduce the development trend of science and technology and the development strategy of our country at the turn of the century, and discuss and make suggestions on major comprehensive issues in the Eighth Five-Year Plan. The congress will also elect the new leadership of China Association for Science and Technology.
