According to the statistics of 15 pellet plants in North America, the pellet output in 1990 will reach 82.4Mt, equivalent to 90% of the production capacity of 90.8Mt. The production in 1990 will be lower than the 82.5Mt in 1989 and 80.2Mt in 1988.
