As part of cancer control, there is a need for balanced use of medical resources for the treatment of cancer and adequate attention to palliative cancer treatment (including analgesia). The World Health Organization’s National Cancer Control Project in 1995 stated that “Compared with other cancer control methods, palliative treatment can quickly achieve the effect of resolving the suffering of patients and their families and improving the quality of life of cancer patients.” ?
