巴蔓子墓位于重庆市区七星岗,建于清朝,一直作为重庆人民凭吊祭祀古巴国将军巴蔓子之所。抗战时期由于年久失修,加之敌机轰炸,墓体本身和配套设施损坏,环境污浊,在中央古物保管委员会和重庆市临时参议会的干预下,重庆市政府组织工务局对该墓进行了几次维修。虽然设计了长久修复方案,囿于当时防空形势和经济状况,最后只能简单进行维修,维持原状。这几次维修是民国时期官方对重庆地区文物保护的开始,对重庆地方文物保护工作具有重要意义。
Located in Qixinggang, Chongqing City, Ba Manzi Tomb was built in the Qing Dynasty and has been used as a sacrificial offering to the people of Chongqing in Cuba. During the War of Resistance Against Japan as a result of years of disrepair, combined with enemy bombing, the tomb itself and supporting facilities damaged, polluted environment, with the intervention of the Central Antiquities and Custodial Councils and Chongqing Provisional Senate, the Chongqing Municipal Government organized the Bureau of Works of the tomb carried out a few Maintenance. Although long-term rehabilitation programs have been designed, at the time the air defense situation and economic conditions prevailed, we could only simply carry out maintenance and maintain the status quo. These repairs were the official start of the protection of cultural relics in Chongqing during the Republic of China and were of great significance to the protection of local cultural relics in Chongqing.
