视网膜脱离是严重影响视功能的常见眼病,主要通过手术进行治疗。半个多世纪来,在视网膜脱离的治疗方法及手术方式上,有显著的改进。术中所用各种植入物的材料,也在不断创新。许多以往认为病情严重、预后不佳的患者,得到有效治疗。1984年3月以来,我们应用国产硅橡胶环扎带对一些视网膜脱离范围广泛、多裂孔或巨大裂孔以及玻璃体条件很差的视网膜脱离患者,施行巩膜环扎术,取得满意疗效。
