1999年北京、天津、上海、广州和重庆5大城市经济运行总体情况良好。5城市横向比较,上海在国内生产总值、工业总产值、固定资产投资总额、社会消费品零售总额、外贸出口总额等方面处于领先地位,北京、广州、重庆等地则分别在第三产业比重、城镇居民收入、第一产业比重方面各有千秋。经济总量:上海国内生产总值最高,广州增长最快
