Gruiter Holding, the Swiss composites group, secured an order worth more than 30 million Swiss francs to supply carbon-fiber car body panels. The new project will begin in the fourth quarter of 2015 with the industrial production of Class A carbon fiber composite body panels, taking advantage of the company’s existing mold opening technology and its new patents and proprietary advanced technologies. The company said the new hot press molding technology significantly reduces cure time for efficient small-scale industrial production and is fully compatible with the carmaker’s manufacturing and assembly methods.
