Objective By analyzing and understanding the epidemic characteristics of measles in Longhua County in 2006, it provides a scientific basis for the district to formulate measles prevention strategies. Methods Descriptive epidemiological analysis of measles cases and laboratory data in 2006 in Longhua County was conducted. Results A total of 166 measles cases were reported in Longhua County in 2006. There were 120 cases diagnosed in laboratory, 24 cases were diagnosed clinically, 22 cases were excluded and the morbidity was 34.18 / 100 000 without any deaths. The county has a total of 17 towns and townships have measles cases, the age of onset to less than 9 months of age and over the age of 8 years of adolescents and older age groups, accounting for 75.69% of the total number of cases, with no exception except 4 months, The remaining cases occurred each month, 3 to 6 months for the peak incidence, a total of 129 cases, accounting for 89.58% of the total number of cases. Conclusion According to the analysis, we found that the measles epidemic in our county mainly focused on children aged 12 months, adolescents over 8 years old and adults, suggesting that we should continue to consolidate routine immunization and strengthen measles replantation and plan to carry out measles vaccine To investigate the immunization problems of children under 8 months of age, to strengthen the supervision of migrant children and the examination of vaccination certificates, admission and admission certificates, to standardize the management of vaccination cards and vaccination certificates, which are the key to control the epidemic of measles in our county .
