1996年10月是中国工农红军长征胜利60周年,知识出版社在党和国家领导的大力支持下,在老一辈无产阶级革命家的亲切指导下,盛邀国内研究长征历史的中青年学者,编撰了《长征的故事》丛书。丛书以少年儿童喜闻乐见的讲故事形式再现了长征途中可歌可泣历史画卷,语言生动、可读性强,是对广大少年儿童进行革命英雄主义革命传统教育的优秀读物。
October 1996 was the 60th anniversary of the victory of the Long March of the Red Army of China’s Workers and Peasants.
