目前光导纤维通信通常是用一根光纤维向一个方向传一束光,如要双方对传就须采用两根光纤维才能实现。为了提高光纤维的利用率,降低线路成本,充分发挥光通信大容量特点又使之不受电子元件速率的限制,一些国家已开始研究单根光纤同时传几束光的光频分复用技术。本文介绍我们进行单根光纤双工光通信的初步试验结果。
At present, optical fiber communications usually use a single optical fiber to transmit a beam of light in one direction. If both parties need to pass the optical fiber, two optical fibers must be used. In order to improve the utilization of optical fiber, reduce the cost of the line, give full play to the large capacity of optical communication and make it not limited by the rate of electronic components, some countries have started to study the optical fiber frequency division multiplexing . This article describes our preliminary test results for a single optical fiber duplex optical communication.
