本文叙述了应用ＳＴＥＰ工具ｓｔ－ｄｅｖｅｌｏｐｅｒ１．６和Ｐｒｏｓｔｅｐ４．０对带有汉字字符的ＳＴＥＰ文件的测试。从测试结果可以看出，这两种ＳＴＥＰ工具软件都不能完全支持由ＳＴＥＰ标准规定的应用在ＳＴＥＰ文件中的字符集ＩＳＯ１０６４６通用多八位编码字符集（ＵＣＳ）。
This article describes the application of STEP tools st-developer1.6 and Prostep4.0 STEP file with Chinese characters test. From the test results it can be seen that neither of these STEP tools can fully support the character set ISO 10646 Universal Multi-octet Encoding Character Set (UCS) as defined by the STEP standard for use in STEP files.
