陆家堡凹陷上休罗统是裂谷盆地断陷期的产物,相当于P.R.Vail提出的一个二级层序,可划分为三个层序边界(SBI、SBZtSB3)、两个三级层序(层序八层库四、研究认为:构造沉降和古地理背景是该区层序地层的主要控制因素,制约了各体系域发育规模和沉积组合特点.层序A可识别出低水位体系域、湖泊扩张体系域和湖泊收缩体系域,发育了该区主要的生储盖组合.层序B只由湖泊扩张体系域、湖泊收缩体系域组成,其湖泊扩张体系域是区域盖层和次要的源岩,湖泊收缩体系城虽然发育了良好的储层,但因缺乏区域盖层,只是次要目的层.
