中国古代城防遗存涵盖各个时期,各个地区,数量众多。通过考古发掘来看,我国古代的城防体系一般除了作为主体建筑的城墙外,还有城门、城台、城楼、瓮城、角台、角楼、马面、马道等不可或缺的组成部分,以及护城河、吊桥等环境设施构成。随着历史的发展与文明的进步,古代城池防御体系建设越来越完善、实用、科学、合理,这充分地体现了我国劳动人民高超的智慧。基于此,本文从众多发掘报告、学术论文以及相关论著中整理、选辑、提取、改写出具有一定具代表性的城防遗存,以方便各位学者研究。
