训诂与解字是学习汉字的重要一环。汉字是世界上唯一延续数千年而不死的表意文字。造成这个奇迹的原因很多,训诂所发挥的作用不可小视。狭义考察,所谓训诂就是解释古书文义,所谓解字就是解释字义。广义考察,训诂即解字,解字即训诂。历代都有志士仁人选择这个不太容易收获名利的事业,就是因为这个工作关系到中国的文字能不能健康发展与延续,能不能保证它不走样变形,始终如一地表达同一个意思与同一种思想,形成民族特有的传统。德国思想家莱布尼兹是对汉字理解极其深刻的人,他是这样评价汉字的:汉字完全可以替代哲学著作,未来的哲学将使用汉字来表达,以免去那些冗长的论述。本文选择了部分汉字,从其本意始,发掘其中的国学义理,在某种意义上,也是对莱布尼兹思想的一次实践。

The German thinker Leibniz is an extremely profound understanding of Chinese characters, he is the evaluation of Chinese characters: Chinese characters can completely replace the philosophical writings, the future of philosophy will use Chinese characters to express, so as to avoid those lengthy expositions. This article chooses some Chinese characters, and from its original intention, explores the theory of Guoxue in it. In a certain sense, it is also a practice of Leibniz’s thought.
