1.序言近年来,减轻重量已成为汽车行业课题之一,目的是达到低油耗、高功率,在这方面气缸体存在问题。为此,要求铸件实现薄壁化,这就要求研制出能适应由此产生的热变形、振动及具有耐磨性和刚性的优良材料。最近,在2000cm~3以上大型汽车上采用铝制气缸体已成为一种趋势。日本森川产业公司每月把40多万个气缸套压装或铸到气缸体内。近年来,四轮汽车用气缸套从10%增加到20~30%,说明生产在发展。特别引人注目的是金属型铸造法,采用此法生产的铸件,强度高、切削性良好,因而用途不断扩大。一般说来,大多数是共晶石墨铁素体铸铁。
