In September and October of 1978, I visited the Ordering Team for Geophysical Equipment Research and visited Texas Instruments AG, visited the company’s production line and ordered a number of digital seismic instruments. Investigation orders we found that the company geophysical equipment development planning quite valuable, inspired us. Texas Instruments AG is a large company that produces products such as integrated circuits, computers, terminal equipment, calculators, digital seismographs, gravimeters, data processing equipment, load cells and more. It has a number of branches around the world, with a total workforce of about 80,000 and an annual income of about 1.3 billion U.S. dollars, accounting for the annual revenue of Western computer manufacturers
