汪根林1965年2月出生于浙江省开化县杨林镇下庄村,1983年10月参加中国人民解放军,1986年6月加入中国共产党,1997年8月转业分配到开化县星口乡农经站工作。汪根林作为一位普通的基层干部,始终坚持做到党和人民的利益高于一切,他心系农民,爱岗敬业,勇于奉献,不畏艰险。2001年6月24日,他在星口乡工艺木制品厂救火过程中,为保护他人生命和企业财产而英勇献身,时年36岁。汪根林以自己的实际行动,谱写了一个模范共产党员实践“三个代表”的一曲颂歌。
Wang Genlin was born in February 1965 in Xia Zhuang Village, Yanglin Town, Kaihua County, Zhejiang Province. He joined the Chinese People’s Liberation Army in October 1983, joined the Communist Party of China in June 1986, and was transferred to work in Farmers’ Economic Station in Xingkou County, Kaihua County in August 1997. . Wang Genlin as an ordinary grassroots cadres, always adhere to the interests of the party and the people above all else, he loved the peasants, dedication, courage and dedication, fear of difficulties and dangers. On June 24, 2001, at the age of 36, he sacrificed his life to protect the lives and property of others in the process of fighting fire at Xingkouxiang Arts & Crafts Wooden Products Factory. With his own practical actions, Wang Genlin wrote an ode to a model Communist party member to practice “three represents.”
