“白芒选”是汕头地区农科所从“白芒麦”(福建晋江地区所育成)中单株系统选育成。于1971年春收从“白芒麦”中选出40多个单株,经过几年的试种、选育保留下来的一个株系。前2年参加观察区及区内品种比较均比“福麦7号”有明显的增产。1974年冬种繁育7.36亩(该片地地下水位高,加上因下雨采用板田种植)平均亩产328.5斤,比同片田同时种植的“红芒选”(晋江所育成)6.31亩,平均亩产273.O斤,增产20.4％,又比“晋麦2148”200亩,平均亩产:292.5斤增产12.3％。本地区潮安县农科所,黑龙江北安地区试验场等单位引进试种,也表现良好。
“Baimangxuan” is a systematic selection of single-cropped plants in Shantou Agricultural Science Institute from “Baimai Mai” (bred in Jinjiang, Fujian Province). In the spring of 1971, more than 40 individual plants were selected from “White-winged Wheat”. After several years of trial cultivation, one of the remaining strains was selected. The first two years to participate in the observation area and the region than the “Fumai 7” significantly increased yield.
