创新不应局限于某一阶段性,而应贯穿于包括基础训练在内的整个设计教育的始终。创新本身不应仅依附于某一设计的一个部分或阶段,而应体现于:发现与处理问题,对应及平衡媒介,支持并开发功能……作为基础教育阶段,创新还应体现于处理问题、应变能力等方面。因此,设计的创新尤其应体现为整个过程的持续创新和不间断创新。本文力求提供符合当代设计观念的品质需求及教学服务,全面培养和提升学生面向当代的设计思维品质、设计表达的基本能力及基本素养,引领学生建立良好的、自主学习的习惯。根据学科建设与发展的需求,有计划、有步骤地全面推动设计构成基础的理论研究、教学流程实践研究、知识点与能力培养研究,以及教学方式与方法的研究。
