北京人民艺术剧院演出的老舍先生的名著《茶馆》即将出访西德、英国、法国、瑞士等国,这是我国戏剧界的一件大事。话剧传进中国已有七十余年历史,但是我国职业剧团正式作为文化使者到欧洲巡回演出,这还是第一回。这说明话剧这种外来形式已经在我国“插队落户”,成为自己文化的组成部分,反过来又加入了世界进步文化的行列。令人玩味的是,倡议、邀请《茶馆》出国,并为此在本国奔走的恰恰是受访国 Lao She’s famous “Teahouse”, which is performed by Beijing People’s Art Theater, is about to visit West Germany, Britain, France, Switzerland and other countries.
