The freshness of the Centre Georges Pompidou has not yet passed. Today, in the northeast corner of Paris, the world’s most advanced scientific and industrial city has been built (see pages 48 to 52 of this issue). Its film hall is spherical and it has been opened last year. The spherical film hall is 36.5 meters in diameter, and its outer surface is made of stainless steel, polished to look bright. The trees on the ground, the clouds in the sky, and the ridges of the sky are not badly reflected. As the spheres form an arc, they are wrapped around the cage. Truth is intertwined with illusions, unprecedented, truly unprecedented. The new visual experience experienced in a brand-new building stimulates people’s imagination and teaches people to always look forward to the future and to think about infinite possibilities. To explore, to create, and to pursue the new world, you may get a wonderful new world—it induces people to think like this.
