The latest historical evidence shows that at least the Japanese military has concealed two secrets of World War II: the Soviet Union will declare war and the United States will vote for the atomic bomb. About 5 May 1945, the Japanese military knew that the Soviet Union was about to declare war on Japan. The intelligence was informed by military attaches of the embassies in Japan that were then based in Europe and reported to Japan. Now listening records are also kept in the Royal British Archives. The time when the Soviet Union formally declared to Britain and the United States that it wants to declare war on Japan was held in Yalta in February 1945. At this secret meeting, the United States, Britain and the Soviet Union held fierce bargaining over the post-war world structure, including deciding on the independence of Mongolia. In order to prevent the Allies shake, these elements are required to be strictly forbidden.
