盐酸利多卡因是常用局麻药。Gerjot(1963)首用利多卡因静脉注射治疗Meniere氏病,Sakata和Umeda(1976)曾经鼓室注射此药治疗耳鸣,症状均获改善。作者经鼓室注射利多卡因治疗Meniere氏病28例,均系耳神经科门诊检查确诊,内科治疗无效的病人。其中男12例,女16例,年龄20～70岁,平均40岁。鼓室内注射在手术室进行。病人仰卧,外耳道消毒后用Bonain氏液(酚、薄荷、可卡因和肾上腺素的混合液)麻醉鼓膜。用19号针头向中耳注入1%盐酸利多卡因

Gerjot (1963) used intravenous injection of lidocaine to treat Meniere’s disease, and Sakata and Umeda (1976) had tympanic injection of the drug to treat tinnitus and the symptoms improved.
