2005年8月20日,由中国摄影家协会、香港国际摄影艺术研究会与桂林市人民政府共同主办的首届中国(桂林)国际摄影节在“山水甲天下”的广西壮族自治区桂林市开幕,开幕式在桂林国际会展中心举行。中外著名摄影家主题影展、当代影像文化大论坛、影像文化与时尚博览会、名车与佳丽、民族-时尚-婚纱模特摄影活动也于会展中心全面亮相。11位国际摄影大师和13位接受中国摄影家协会
On August 20, 2005, the first China (Guilin) International Photography Festival co-sponsored by China Photographers Association, Hong Kong International Photographic Arts Research Association and Guilin Municipal People’s Government opened in Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region , The opening ceremony held in Guilin International Convention and Exhibition Center. Chinese and foreign famous photographers theme film festival, contemporary video culture forum, video culture and fashion fair, luxury cars and Belle, nationality - fashion - wedding photography model activities also in the exhibition center full appearance. 11 international photography masters and 13 accept China Photographers Association
