The Symposium on Spatial and Physical Exploration Data was held in Beijing from October 17 to 23, 1984. 80 participants from 26 units nationwide attended the conference and read more than 40 papers. The meeting concluded that data is the foundation of the space-time research work in Japan and Earth. In recent years, with the rapid development of China’s space technology, great advances have also been made in the detection of space physics. The space physics detection methods such as scientific satellites, sounding rockets and high-altitude balloons have been initially provided and a great deal of data on physical phenomena such as geomagnetic, atmospheric and ionospheric data have been obtained, which provides a good foundation for space physics research.
