Objective: To investigate the safety and efficacy of low-dose indapamide and bisoprolol in patients with essential hypertension. Methods: Sixty newly diagnosed patients with grade Ⅰ and Ⅱ hypertension were randomly divided into treatment group and control group. The treatment group was treated with indapamide 2.5mg / time, and bisoprolol 2.5mg / time, taking medication once every day at 7am; the control group was given indapamide 2.5mg / time, oral once daily at 7am, Treatment for 8 weeks. Results: The blood pressure (systolic and diastolic blood pressure) decreased in both groups, but the blood pressure in the treatment group decreased significantly. In the treatment group, 13 cases were markedly effective and 14 cases were effective. In the control group, 8 cases were markedly effective and 15 cases were effective. The total effective rate was 90% in the treatment group and 10% in the treatment group. The effective rate in the control group was 76.7% and the inefficiency rate was 23.3%. 2 There was significant difference between the two groups (P <0.05). Adverse reactions were similar in both groups, with no significant difference in biochemical indexes before and after treatment. Conclusion: Bisoprolol combined with indapamide is safe and effective in the treatment of essential hypertension and has no significant effect on the metabolism of glucose and lipid.
