每年暑假,学校都会组织各种活动:音乐夏令营、读书夏令营、生物夏令营,等等。然而我最感兴趣的是少年领袖夏令营,这个活动是专为那些有政治抱负的少年设计的。各个地区少年领袖夏令营活动的组织者不同,有的是学校组织,有的是学区委员会出头,也有由社会关心政治的人士出面的。参加这项活动的学生,必须先提出个人申请,经过面试录取。他们大多学习优秀,社会参与意识强,各项活动表现得十分积极,有良好的记录,并得到家长支持。
Every summer vacation, the school organizes a variety of activities: summer camps for music, summer camps for reading, summer camps for biology, and more. What I am most interested in, however, is the Junior Leader Summer Camp, which is designed for those aspiring teenagers. There are different organizers of summer camp camps for juvenile leaders in various regions, some are school organizations, some are school district committees, and some are concerned by the community for political concern. Students participating in this activity must first submit a personal application and make an interview. Most of them are good at learning and socially conscious, and their activities are very positive, with good records and parental support.
