1979年8月10日,我厂利用英国福塞克公司生产的 B9761绝热板在 Fx11.5模上浇注一炉低碳镇静钢,浇注用的保护渣和防缩孔剂均是英国福塞克公司生产的。由于绝热板尺寸预留有较大的余量,所以在安装绝热板时将板按模口实际尺寸割好并用楔紧法把绝热板组装牢固后,送至浇铸现场。此次试验进行比较顺利并获得成功。其结果表明,英国福塞克公司提供的绝热板、保护渣和防缩孔剂,有它的独特之处。
