柯蒂斯音乐学院柯蒂斯音乐学院(Curtis Institute of Music)坐落在美国宾夕法尼亚州的费城市,由玛丽·路易斯·科蒂斯·博克创建于1924年10月,是世界上最著名的音乐学院之一。学院的教育宗旨是:把具有特殊天分的年轻人培养成为具有世界最高水平的专业音乐人才。每年仅招收百余人,入学资格审核非常严格。申请入学者必须擅长独奏,以显示该生具有音乐天资、对某种乐器有特殊能力并有个人的特点,表明有继续发展并能成为最高专业水准的职业音乐家的可能性。因此,该学院也被称之为“独奏家的摇篮”。同时,柯蒂斯是美国唯一一所向所有学生提供百分之百全面奖学金的顶尖级音乐学院。
Curtis Institute of Music The Curtis Institute of Music, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, was founded in October 1924 by Mary Louise Curtis Boke and is the most famous conservatory in the world one. College education aims: to train young people with special talents to become the world’s highest professional music talent. Only enroll more than 100 people every year, the entrance qualification examination is very strict. Applicants for admission must be good at solo to show that they have a musical aptitude, a particular abilities and a personal trait on a particular instrument, indicating the possibility of continuing development and becoming a professional musician at the highest professional level. Therefore, the college is also called “the cradle of soloists”. At the same time, Curtis is the only state-of-the-art Conservatory of Music in the United States that offers 100% full scholarships to all students.
