青梅,也称梅,酸梅,蔷薇科,杏属,为落叶乔木或灌木。青梅抗逆性强,适应性广,栽培管理技术简单,育苗繁殖容易。青梅根系发达,固土能力强,生长快,一般2年生嫁接苗栽植后3—4年开始结果,5年以后进入盛果期,株产可达50—80斤。青梅用途广。果实除鲜食外,可制蜜饯、话梅、巧酸梅,还能酿制出青梅酒或制作各种酸甜可口的饮料。青梅及其加工制品畅销国内外,是我国长江流域一带的著名特产。
