随着电脑CPU性能的提升,电脑的处理速度也越来越快,同时硬盘的存储容量越来越大,价格也越来越便宜,压缩格式越来越先进,压缩率也越来越高,先后推出的压缩格式有MPEG-1、MPEG-2和MPEG-4,最终国家广播电影电视总局将MPEG-2定为我国自动播出系统的标准格式。于是国内很多厂家研发出了一大批以MPEG-2为标准播出格式的自动播出系统,功能日趋完善,也越来越为广大电视台广泛使用。
