无底柱分段崩落法中,进路破坏会造成大量矿石损失.进路的破坏原因,以及如何维护进路一直是人们关心的问题之一.在某些矿山可以观察到这样的现象:回采之前,进路围岩很稳定,这种稳定状态甚至可以持续几年.回采之后,空区之前的进路以两帮破坏为主,进路距空区愈近,两帮破坏得愈严重.随回采不断进行,空区不断扩大,在新增加空区覆盖的下一分段进路由两帮破坏转向顶板破坏,顶板破坏可持续相当长一段时间.我们把处于空区之下卸荷区域内的巷道围岩顶板垮冒现象称之为卸荷破坏.
