本文以系统功能语言学为理论基础,对小说《讹诈》人际意义进行研究。旨在从功能语言学的人际意义角度,探讨《讹诈》最具有代表性的实现人际意义的语气系统和情态系统对构筑小说人际意义的贡献。研究发现,人物对话中语气系统选择对人物形象的塑造起了重要作用,揭示了人物间的权势关系和性格特征;情态系统选择符合故事情节发展以及人物的地位、性格和态度。
In this paper, based on systematic functional linguistics, this paper studies the interpersonal meaning of “blackmail” in the novel. The purpose of this study is to explore the contribution of the tone system and modality system of “blackmail”, which is the most representative interpersonal meaning to construct the interpersonal meaning of fiction, from the perspective of interpersonal meaning of functional linguistics. The study finds that the choice of tone system in the dialogues plays an important role in the shaping of the characters, reveals the power relations and character traits among the characters, and the choice of modality meets the development of the story and the position, character and attitude of the characters.
