1937年日寇发动全面侵华战争时,凶焰万丈,狂妄叫嚣3个月灭亡中国。为了实现其罪恶的目的,防止中国军民从海外获得战略物资,日军凭借其海空军优势,严密封锁了中国沿海的主要海口,基本上切断了中国从境外进口战略物资尤其是石油的渠道。 中国进口石油的渠道被切断后,立刻给中国军民的抗战造成了极大困难。因为一直到抗日战争爆发前,国民党政府一向都是依赖“洋油”过日子,仅1935年一年就进口了“洋油”38522.8万加仑。
When the Japanese invaders launched the war of aggression against China in 1937, their fierce flames and arrogance clamored for 3 months and perished in China. In order to realize its evil purpose and prevent Chinese military and civilian personnel from obtaining strategic supplies from overseas, the Japanese military, by virtue of its advantages of navy and air force, has severely blocked the major seaports in China’s coastal areas and basically cut off the channels for China to import strategic materials, especially petroleum, from abroad. After China’s channel for the import of oil was cut off, it immediately caused great difficulties to the war of resistance between the civilians and the military in China. Because until the outbreak of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, the Kuomintang government always relied on “foreign oil” for its livelihood. In 1935 alone, it imported 385.228 million gallons of “foreign oil”.
