An object that is not coincident with its mirror image by rotation and translation is called chiral. Many biomolecules have purely one chirality and their interaction is clearly stereospecific. Therefore, it is of biological significance to study chiral molecules and their interactions from the microscopic point of view. The research on the high-order perturbation theory of intermolecular interaction and the ordinary intermolecular non-pairwise additive interaction provide the basis for this work. The role of the two chiral molecules in recognition since 1962 has been discussed.
