1975年 ,广东潮安发现宣德写本《金钗记》。该剧是宋元以来“刘文龙”剧在明初新编的演出本 ,在现存南戏剧本中 ,其时代仅次于《永乐大典》戏文三种 ,而成为研究刘剧及整个南戏从形成到演变再到地方化的一个重要范本。就研究实践来说 ,则日益偏向于追溯“刘文龙”故事在民间的流传———也即将古老南戏与地方戏史、戏曲声腔、实地演出、宗教傩戏种种研究相交叉 ,成为文化人类学、民俗学等影响下的一道热闹风景
