广东省斗门县白蕉镇新环村农民冯志鹏利用旧鱼塘养殖罗氏沼虾,获得高产高效。1993年养殖罗氏沼虾4.5亩,总产1548千克,平均亩产344千克;总收94428元,纯收73310元,平均亩纯收16291元,创白蕉镇水产养殖效益最高记录。他主要经验是: 1.旧塘清淤挖深,增大水体。1993年他养虾的鱼塘,曾经养殖9年塘鱼,塘基低矮崩缺,塘底淤泥深厚,塘水浅又过肥,不适宜养虾。为了改养罗氏沼虾,他投入2000多元,对旧塘全面整治。加高培厚塘基,清除旧塘全部淤泥,还深挖0.4米,完成土方1100立方米,使鱼塘水深保持2.4米。
