数学分类讨论思想是根据数学本质属性的相同点和不同点,将数学研究对象分为不同种类的一种数学思想。由于“分类讨论”思想是中学数学中一个很重要的数学思想方法,对培养学生思维的条理性、缜密性,提高学生全面、周密地分析问题和解决问题的素质和能力起到十分关键的作用,故“分类讨论”思想在初中数学教学中占有重要地位。
